The Cold War Minute Podcast is a BerlinBrigade.com presentation dedicated to the events
that occurred during the Cold War. The period covered begins just as World
War II comes to an end, in Europe, in 1945 and continues until 1994 when
the last of the Army of Occupation Forces depart the city of Berlin,
Germany.
The Cold War Minute Podcast covers topics such as military, politics,
civil rights, aerospace, defense, science, and technology. The Cold War
Minute Podcast began on June 1, 2010 and for the next 365 days the content
was specific to the events that happened on that day in history.
Starting August 1, 2011, the Cold War Minute changed from a "daily only" show
to a new weekly episode along with re-plays of the past daily episodes.
The weekly episode is a little longer but talks about the Cold War events
in history for the week with an in-depth expansion on some of those
events.
The Cold War Minute is designed to be used as a tool to inform the general
public about what happened during that time in world history by someone
who was a willing participant during the latter part of the Cold
War.
